THE LORD OF THE RINGS
ARMY BUILDING ARTICLES
Massive armies were assembled and mobilised during The War of The Ring, the Riders of Rohan and the Men of Gondor rose up to defend the lands of the West from the threat of Sauron's legions of Orcs with their Easterling and Haradrim allies. In the dark places of the world exist great kingdoms of Dwarves and Goblins, who have fought many bitter wars against one another in Middle-earth's turbulent history; and whilst the presence of the Elves wanes during these later years even they may muster a force of such numbers as to give any opposing army cause for second thoughts.
Whilst
scenario play remains the focus of The Lord of The Rings Strategy Battle Game
the models and rules can make for exciting pitched battles between matched
forces and many hobbyists spend time assembling a force of warriors from Middle-earth.
The articles presented here cover everything from the basics of buying your first boxed set of toy soldiers, right through to the assembling of entire legions of warriors, armed to the teeth and ready for death in some black battle.
To recruite your warriors, vist one of our local Hobby Centres or the Online Store.
Unwritten Tales means that there are no articles available at the moment for that section. Fear not as we will regularly be revisiting each army over the coming months... so keep your eyes peeled.
