WITH THE RETURN OF THE KING
GET THE RULES
Before you can play a game from The Return of The King, you'll need to get your hands on the rules for The Lord of The Rings Strategy Battle Game. These rules govern the gaming system you'll use to play the scenarios contained in The Return of The King supplement.
|
There are two paths into The Lord of The Rings Strategy Battle Game. The first is the Mines of Moria boxed set. If you have never played a battle game before, or would like to collect the plastic miniatures and scenery included, then the Mines of Moria boxed set is for you. The second way to get into the game is to purchase the hardcover rulebook. If you are familiar with battle games, this book is the path for you. |
|
Regardless
of whether you get the Mines of Moria boxed set or The Lord of The Rings rulebook,
both of them include detailed guides on the basics of how to assemble Games
Workshop models and how to paint them. If you have never assembled or painted
a miniature before, these guides are the gateways toward becoming a skilled
The Lord of The Rings hobbyist.
Okay, so now you have some idea of the two ways you can get The Lord of The Rings Strategy Battle Game rules, which you'll need if you want to play The Return of The King. Now let's look at the miniatures that you can collect as a part of your force of Good or Evil.
