Wielding the Secret Fire
HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN SPELL MARKERS

In the din of combat, it's easy to forget all the magical powers, wargear and special rules your heroes can use. Here, Nathan Bishop gives you a few ideas on how to model and paint your own reminder markers, which can serve as visual sticky notes for all your tricks.

Thranduil stands atop a spell marker with Wood Elf miniatures surrounding him. Sadly, the transparent ring that marks the spell's area of effect is the result of digital image trickery and not some clever holographic projector.

Magical powers in The Lord of The Rings Strategy Battle Game range from the subtle to the awe-inspiring, yet all have important effects in the game.
