Download the Results for: Heat 1
Finally the 2003-2004 Tournament Season for Warhammer 40,000 is up and running. 118 gamers arrived on Saturday morning and prepared to do battle. There was a great atmosphere in the hall over the weekend with many people feeling that their games were truly memorable.
As time went on it became clear that one player was pulling ahead of the field in most areas of the tournament. At the end Simone Di Tomaso had beaten his nearest rival in Generalship by 17 points, had matched the Best Sportsman in true gaming spirit and became overall winner with the largest ever recorded margin in a UK GT of 36 points.
Special thanks should go to Adam Hall as he took control of this show for the first time, most players agreed that he and his team produced great results that made the whole weekend a great success. We on the Tournament Team are now looking forward to the second heat in November to see who'll be battling it out in the Grand Final in March 2004.
See you soon,
