Wow,
164 gamers trekked to Warhammer World on a cold weekend in January to pit their
wits against other alliances in the hope of establishing themselves as the
Doubles Champions. Many weird and wonderful
alliances were forged in preparation for this event but in the end it was the
strong contact between two forces of Necrons that won through for the title.
In total 369 games were played in what was a truly fast and furious event.
My congratulations to Gus O'Connor and John Spence for their success. Good luck
in 2006 when you defend your title
of Warhammer 40,000 Doubles Tournament Champions!
