The first Hive Tyrant models were pretty dang
scary. They had lots of individual pieces and weapon
options
that made for a cool model that Tyranid players just
couldn't do without. Besides, the Hive Tyrant kicked
just as much Space Marine butt as it does today.
GENESTEALER PATRIARCH
This ugly fella was basically an ancient Purestrain
Genestealer, and he was the sole progenitor
of an entire Genestealer Brood. As such, the
Patriarch was just plain mean both in combat
and as a psyker.
GENSTEALER MAGUS
Genestealer Magi acted as leaders or high
priests within Genestealer Covens. Often, they
were potent psykers in the game but quite fragile
in combat.
