Although only the initiate will ever get to see this masterpiece first-hand, you now have the opportunity to see all the details through your home computer. Click the image circles with magnifying glass icons to see larger versions of each image and a description of how Kev painted that part.

Start with a basecoat of Graveyard Earth before highlighting with Bleached Bone and Skull White.

Paint Scab Red over Chaos Black, then add a watered-down Blood Red layer followed by Blazing Orange to highlight the edges.

First, paint the veins with Hawk Turquoise. Then, apply Bleached Bone to blend them into the carapace.

Apply Bleached Bone all over the exoskeleton. Then, paint watered-down Liche Purple into the recesses. Layer on an equal-parts mix of Bleached Bone and Skull White before adding a final highlight of watered-down Skull White.

Paint Blazing Orange onto the pipes, followed by Fiery Orange and Bleached Bone. Apply an equal-parts mix of Red and Yellow inks to finish off.
