
PAINTING TOMBSTONES
Throughout the Old World, the dead of a thousand battles lie in graves. Those with enough wealth and, having accomplished deeds worthy of remembrance, may be honoured with a tablet of stone, forever marking their final resting place.
Here are some quick and easy colour variations for painting gravestones. All of the examples are done using the drybrushing method with the exception of the two on the farthest right, which were done with watered-down washes over a white basecoat. Try a few variations to make your graveyard seem eclectic and diverse. The tombstones are described below, from left to right.
