The new rulebook updates and expands the Warhammer 40,000 game. As well as adding clarity and ease of use to the core of the system a host of fantastic new rules have been added to give the game more depth and variety.

Line of sight is now an important aspect of the game, with players using a ‘model’s eye view’ to check whether they can see their targets. A mob of Ork Boyz take advantage of the new running rules to close with the enemy even faster.

Hurtling forward at cruising speed, this Rhino rams into the side of an Imperial Guard Chimera and scores a penetrating hit! Models can now choose to go to ground when under heavy fire, hitting the dirt and increasing their cover saves.

Cover saves have now improved, so even the hardy Space Marines favour cover against heavy weapons. Missions have changed too, allowing for more exciting and interesting games where players fight to capture objectives and use Troops to hold ground.
