HOW TO GET TO WARHAMMER WORLD
Instructions on how to get to Warhammer World by car or on public transport can be found on our Where is Warhammer World? page.
USING MAIL ORDER
In our store you have the opportunity to order items from Mail Order and collect them on the same day! We have set collection times, so if you order by 11am your order will be ready by 1pm, order by 1pm and your order will be ready by 3pm and finally if you order by 3pm your order will be ready for you by 5pm. If you do want to place an order we recommend you try to do it as soon as possible to save you having to wait around, you should have time to place an order, take a wander round and then collect it. We only offer this service Monday to Saturday. Occasionally items can be out of stock.
PURCHASING FORGE WORLD ITEMS
We carry a limited amount of Forge World items, mainly for Warhammer 40,000. If you want to collect something from us and it is a specific item you could call the store ahead of your visit (normally about 2 weeks notice will suffice) to let us know what you want and we can order it in so that it will be ready for you.
IF
PLAYING A GAME PLEASE BE PREPARED
In order to enjoy a game at Warhammer World please make sure you bring along everything you need. The staff cannot provide enough gaming aids to everyone who visits the arena, so please make sure you bring along all the rulebooks, army books, tape measures, templates and dice you need.
Warhammer World provides some of the best tables and scenery for use in your games. It would be a shame to cover those beautiful tables in white metal and grey plastic. Therefore we have a simple rule, and that is that any figures you bring to the arena to play with must be at least undercoated. Please do not play with unpainted figures on the Warhammer World tables.
CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 12
Must be accompanied by an adult at all times whilst in Warhammer World.
REGULAR GAMING NIGHTS
GAMES NIGHT: Wednesdays remain dedicated to gamers aged 12+, and runs from 4pm - 10pm. If you are a regular gamer and are up to the challenge, or perhaps you're visiting from out of town and are looking for a game it matters not.
ADULTS
ONLY GAMING CLUB: We save Thursday evenings for our over 16yr old gamers. From
6pm until 10pm our veterans get together to battle it out in any and all of
the Games Workshop games systems. We are in fact proud to play host to the
First Company Veterans night, dedicated to the established tournament players'
club. If you fancy the challenge, feel free to give us a call for more details.
Alternatively you can organise a challenge directly with one or more of the
First
Company Veterans, as they operate via the message boards at First
Company
Veterans Club.
To come on Thursday nights you must be a member of the club. Club membership costs £10 each year.
