WOOD ELF DRYAD SHOWCASE
Veteran hobbyists, David Robinson, Jake Landis, Jeff Hall, Ken Kennedy and Ty Finocchiaro take a look at the new Wood Elf Dryads and just a few of the many ideas for modelling and painting these warriors of wood.
Wood Elf players have now been blessed with awesome plastic Dryad sprues for their armies. There's probably about 1,285.6 possible combinations and poses these forest spirits can take on. Simply put, there should never be two units on any given tabletop that look the same, and that's before they're even painted.
Traditionally, Dryads are painted a greyish-brown colour. However, there's a whole world of trees out there to draw upon for inspiration that you can apply to your models. Different bark patterns and hues abound in nature! With a few Internet searches, you'll have a plethora of pictures to work from. Hopefully our gallery will give you some cool ideas for making your already unique Dryad units... um... doubly unique.
